Holiday Gift Tags

Where does the time go?! It is already that time of year again. I have a huge family and need to begin preparing very early, about which I don't mind. I created this variety of holiday tags to add a personal touch to my gift-giving this year. I love the way they turned out! All tags use stamps from Winter Post, my favorite set in our 2008 Holiday MIni. *TIP* Our Designer Label Punch coordinates perfectly with the Dec. 25 stamp! Rhinestone brads add a sweet touch to the snowflake, and jumbo eyelets are the perfect addition to bring everything together.

Thanks for looking!

Journal for a dear friend

I made this journal for a friend of mine who will be opening her home to me and my family for a few days. I am so pleased with how it turned out and hope she loves it as much as I do! I have trouble getting the cardstock just right about the bottom because of the where I begin the spiral punch, hence the last minute addition of the chocolate chip frame along the outer edges. Any suggestions out there?!

Stamps: Heartfelt Thanks, Friendship Flowers
Paper: Soft Sky, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla
Ink: Soft Sky, Chocolate Chip, Mellow Moss
Accessories: Ticket Punch, Coluzzle, River Rock Double Stitched Ribbon, Silver Hodgepodge Hardware, On Board Basics 5x5 Journal

Why oh why is Le Jardin retiring?

Once I disovered how masculine some of the Le Jardin paper was, I realized just how much I had been missing until recently! I made these cards in bulk to have on hand for those male birthdays that seem to challenge me creatively every time. It is a pretty simple card, but I like it!
Paper: Mellow Moss, Very Vanilla, Le Jardin DSP
Ink: Mellow Moss, Always Artichoke
Stamps: Happy Everything
Punches: Ticket Corner, Round Tab
Accessories: Silver Brads

Regal Silhouettes

This card was inspired by Jill Hilliard (stampwithjill - she is one of my favorites!). I retained the color scheme and layout while using a different stamp set and omitting the sentiment and holes. The theme is very versatile, which I love. And...it took me less than 5 minutes from start to finish. I am using Purely Pomegranate as much as possible these days; I am so sad about its pending departure. My new In Colors will be arriving tomorrow, and I am hoping to be pleasantly surprised once I see them in person.

Paper: Purely Pomegranate, So Saffron, Whisper White
Stamps: Garden Silhouettes
Ink: Purely Pomegranate, So Saffron, Old Olive

My very first post as a blogger

Hi, everyone. Thank you for taking the time to view my brand new blog! I was a bit resistant to the idea at first, but have found SO MUCH inspiration from many amazing bloggers. Forgive me while I get used to this entire process. My biggest concern is not giving credit to those whose work I have cased over the past several months. Moving forward I will be paying close attention, I promise!

I have been stamping for a little over 2 years; my first project was making my wedding save-the-dates with my future mother-in-law. Before I knew it, I found my true passion. I am now an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and love when I have free time to spend in my craft area (the other half of my office).

Stay tuned for some posts!
